Why this network?

Making connections and resolving problems on your own is not always that simple. You might need to find a job or a home. Maybe you get into financial problems due to circumstances and try to get help from the government but have no success. Or you have a small business that you're trying to lift up to make an income but not a lot of money to pay for fancy advertising campaigns or an expert.

One of Multi Multi's co-founders learned that personally when he returned to The Netherlands after being away for 12 years and ended up without an income and a home. Official instances could not help him because he didn't meet certain criterias, so he fell in between being a registered Dutch citizen and an unregistered expat.

But what if we help each other? We can use our experiences and creativity to help others with their challenges. Not only give advice or tell why something is not working a certain way, but to actually take action. For example, using your network to help someone to find a home, a job, or clients. Or help their small business with your social media or writing skills. "When you give yourself, you receive more than you give." -Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

How do we do it?

Multi Multi connects all these people and skills, from all over the world. It's a secure network for you to ask for help, for anything you need, and to offer your help to others. You register on the site and pay only when you want to support us, and share what you are good at, what gives you energy, and how you would like to help others. We then map out different categories in order to link people together, and as help requests are being submitted to us - which you are welcome to do any time as well - we will establish connections between people based on their needs and skills. First it'll be done anonymously, and later when both parties agree and feel it's a match, details will be exchanged and they can continue to look for solutions together. And since this is a global platform, you might get help from another side of the world, but of course sometimes local help is necessary.

What is so great about this?

We are convinced that people who need help can also help others. Just because you are facing a challenge yourself, doesn't mean that you can't do something else. You can make a difference in someone's life! And while helping, you can grow your personal and professional network. Helping others gives you a boost of confidence which in return is good for tackling your own challenges.
